Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler, a Z-grade movie reviewer, is known for her sarcastic appreciation for dumb action films as well as horror films. After gaining some fame in the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to review films in the latter half of 2009. The website was her home up until the end of 2015, at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. When she began reviewing films in 2009, she gained fame in the forums of Channel Awesome. After becoming part of the official group of Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. She has made numerous appearances on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
