Anne Phung Nguyen
I am Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in the beautiful Orange County California with my amazing husband JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. My Instagram account is @annephung and most people follow me. I post about my day-to-day life, both the good and the bad. My parents accompanied me to America in the year 1990 when I was just a year old. I would not be able to share my story with you today without my parents' efforts to work for their dreams and put up with sacrifices. So that they could give their children a chance at a more successful future, I focused on my goals and worked hard in order to reach it. My goals were set as follows: I'd study at university, land a job in a corporation, marry and buy an apartment. My idea of success was to attend college after graduation, and then find a corporate job. I would then marry then buy a house, and have kids. Life had other ideas. The amount of money I earned and the importance of my job was not what I wanted to be. I felt as if I wasted my life for a paycheck. While I moved towards my new life path I realized that I was a personal trainer and the career path I was looking for. I have a love of exercise and enjoy working in the company of people and am eager to help those around me. My business was founded in the year 2014. It is my seventh anniversary this year. As an Asian female in this industry we are among the few of us. As an instructor, my aim is to inspire others to live a healthier and enjoyable life by establishing sustainable lifestyles that cater to every person's individual needs and desires. I am also committed to helping others become empowered so that they can achieve their goals, follow their passions and live the life you've always wanted to live. My career exploded as I experienced the greatest successful times in my entire life. My mother died just as my career began to take off. In Heaven she rests now after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. Yet, I keep the memory of her every day. It is possible to learn from the world, even if we might not be able to spot it in the moment. It was my mother's unexpected death that shaped me forever. In my opinion, that it provided me with a chance to experience life. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. Now it was time for her to move on to her next chapter and my chance to live one that was meaningful and enjoyable. In the 30's I am more alive than I ever have. I can truly say that I live now instead of merely living just like I did before. My intention in sharing my experience is to let you know that, you are not alone. I want you to be aware that love exists and that a therapy session can be regular. Health is your most valuable asset. I hope that you enjoy your life to its fullest and to die with no regrets as death is the only thing promised to us in our life.
