Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is a American professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played for Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the college level before being selected as the 5th overall pick by the Wings in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her older brothers. The parents of her were the ones who spoilt her most because she was the most young. Gregory was her father. He was in the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale is a highly engaged family. With 73 high-school starts during her professional career, Ogunbowale is averaging 1,477 point and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale has won gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships and 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships and 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 Championships. The USA Youth Olympic Team was announced as to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale also has been named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her debut collegiate season.
